Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson advised all citizens of Rayville that acting out in anger could have legal consequences in certain situations.
“Whether it’s as simple as causing a disturbance in a public place or striking someone or damaging someone’s property,” the chief said, “there could be arrests and criminal charges as a consequence of your actions.”
Chief Robinson stated that it is always better to walk away and calm down when an altercation becomes heated.
“If you find yourself in a situation that is escalating and you are unable to walk away, call for police assistance before things get out of hand,” the chief said.
Chief Robinson encourages all citizens to come by the Rayville Police Department at 900 Harrison St. or to call 728-4431 if you need his help in any way.
