Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson encourages all citizens of Rayville to be respectful of the rights and property of others.
“A simple rule of thumb is to abide by the Golden Rule,” he said. “Treat others like the way you want others to treat you. You’ll never go wrong like that.”
Chief Robinson advises that you should not take or use another person’s property without their permission and that you should not enter their residence unless you’ve been invited to do so.
“Infringing on the right sof others is not just bad behavior,” the chief said, “you can also incur criminal charges for doing so.”
Chief Robinson would also like to advice citizens to follow all traffic laws, observe posted speed limits and make sure your driver’s license, motor vehicle inspection, vehicle registration and auto insurance are current.
“Failure to keep all of your necessary documents can result in large finds,” the chief said.
Chief Robinson encourages all citizens to come by the Rayville Police Department at 900 Harrison St. or to call 728-4431 if you need his help in any way.
