Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson would like to remind all citizens of Rayville that November is traditionally the month set aside for being thankful and remembering our blessings as Thanksgiving Day approaches.
“No matter what your situation or circumstances, everyone can find something for which to be thankful,” he said. “If you woke up this morning, be thankful. Each new day is an opportunity for a fresh start.”
Chief Robinson would also like to encourage all citizens to express their gratitude and appreciation toe their family, friends and loved ones.
“We are not promised tomorrow, so make sure you let people know today how much you love and appreciate them,” he said.
Chief Robinson advised that during the holidays, as people gather in your home for celebration, be mindful and respectful of your neighbors.
“Make sure to keep your music at a low enough level that it can’t be heard outside your home,” he said. “And make sure your visitors don’t obstruct your neighbors’ driveways and property when parking their vehicles.
Chief Robinson also advised that if you know your neighbor is going away from home, you should keep an eye on their property and report any suspicious persons or activities to the Rayville Police Department immediately.
Chief Robinson encourages all citizens to come by the Rayville Police Department at 900 Harrison St. or to call 728-4431 if you need his help in any way.
