Rayville High School had its annual Senior Parents Night Sept. 8.
Representatives taking part in the program included Timinee Thomas of LOSFA, who detailed information about TOPS and FAFSA for students and parents to review; Jeanne Collins, who acts as a career readiness coordinator and senior coach out of DELTA; Debbie Upshaw from ULM’s TRIO program, informing attendants about grants, scholarships, and loans; Amber Ledford, a current intern from ULM’s counseling program; Charlotte Grissom, English IV teacher from Rayville High School who provided important graduation and scholarship information for the Class of 2017; and Judy Johnson, the Rayville High School counselor who also provided updated ACT and graduation-related information for those present.
Parents and students were allotted time to ask questions and receive answers based on content provided by the representatives.
Rayville High School principal Tommy Watson and the faculty appreciate all representatives for their time and parents and students for their participation and feedback.
