TSgt, Jason Robinson of Mangham announced his retirement from the USAF after 20 years of service effective July 31.
Robinson enlisted immediately upon graduating from Mangham High School in 1995. After serving six years at Barksdale Air Force Base, he and his wife Carla transferred to Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro, North Carolina where they have served for the last 14 years.
Sgt. Robinson’s tour of duty has included six separate deployments to the Middle East and included stations in Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
His military positions include Communications Chief, Combat Convoy Lead Vehicle Commander (‘07) and Vehicle Operations Control Center Supervisor.
Robinson and his wife, Carla, have three children, Bailee, Cody, and Sydney. He is the son of Doyle and Renee’ Robinson of Mangham and the grandson of Barney and Cecil Taylor of Ft. Necessity and the late Dan and Arliea Robinson of Gilbert.
