Mangham High School Beta Club will host a Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 5 at Lobrano Field.
Admission will be $2 at the gate; children under 35” tall will be admitted free of charge.
Participants must present tickets or a wristband at most activities to participate. You can purchase wristbands for $15 for unlimited access to most Beta-sponsored events.
Beta sponsored events included at the wristband price include the bouncy house, treasure box, bucket toss, nail-painting station, face painting, bean bag toss, pumpkin pick, dart throw, musical chairs, twister, scavenger hunt, bowling, fishing for marbles, ring toss, and ring toss for giants.
Other activities (sponsored by various clubs and teams) that will only accept tickets include: the guesstimation station, the bungee run inflatable, the jail & bail, the free throw contest, the baseball/softball throwing speed leaderboard, a 40 yard dash leaderboard, a cake walk, pony rides, petting zoo, goldfish pong, paint wars with the Snapdragons, football squares, the fire truck hose down, and the pie eating contest.
Tickets will cost $1 and each game ranges in price.
Additional community support, such as the Mangham Police Department, Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Air Evac helicopter, the Mangham Volunteer Fire Department, and representatives of the US Army, US Marine Corp, VFW, DeMolay, and Gideons International will be present, unless they are needed elsewhere.
Otherwise, they will be providing different activities for free.
There will be a concession stand, as well. All proceeds from the festival will help fund events for the MHS clubs and sports’ teams throughout the school year.
This will be a fun-filled event for all ages. Bring your families and enjoy!
